Santa Fe is one of the worlds hidden gems for people of all ages. Attracting young and old alike, Santa Fe is a wonderful choice for a getaway during Spring Break! Not only is there a ton of stuff to do, but it is budget friendly for families.
For 2017, Santa Fe has put out the welcome mat for families to enjoy themselves and create memories for a lifetime. In fact, there are many activities that are FREE for children from March 1st – April 15th. Check out my list below for loads of fun and plan your trip today.
Multiple Visions: A Common Bond contains folk art, toys and miniatures from over 100 different countries on six continents; if you miss the walk in tour, pick up a gallery guide or multi-media tour at the front desk. Flamenco From Spain to New Mexico includes costumes, playbills, records, video clips and more; interactive castanets and costume area, footwork and percussion area are good family fun for all ages. All by Museum admission: New Mexico Residents FREE the first Sunday of each month. New Mexico resident seniors 60 & up FREE on WEDNESDAYS; kids 16 and under always FREE!
Kids 16 and under are free. Adult single museum admission is $12.00 per person; or purchase a Culture Pass for one admission to 15 Museums and Historic sites throughout the state within a calendar year for $30. Group rates available. Available during open hours only: The Museum is open 10am to 5pm Tuesdays through Sundays.
The New Mexico Bach Society presents its very popular Annual Bach Concert! The NM Bach Society has a passionate following, because New Mexicans absolutely love the Music of Johann Sebastian Bach, and so will you and your family. This year’s concert features music for voices and instruments by the Master, and the piano is particularly highlighted in this diverse program. Kids come for Free and parents can request a $5 discount at the ticket desk on the day of the concert. Please make your reservations ahead, because this concert usually sells out. Someone at the ticket desk will provide your refund when you show them your Family ticket to the Annual Bach Concert on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Concert takes place in the beautiful Immaculate Heart Chapel, 50 Mount Carmel Road, in Santa Fe at 5:30 pm. Doors open for seating at 5.
For ticket purchases, go to the “Purchase Tickets” page of the NMPAS website (www.nmperformingartssociety.org) and click on the “Annual Bach Concert.” This will take to you directly to our event on our ticket vendor, Hold My Ticket’s, website. General Admission is $29, Family Admission (1 parent and 1 child) is $22. Student and Senior discounts are also available, but may not be combined with this Kids Free offer.
An absolutely fun activity for adults and children, join us on a treasure hunt using GPS devices to discover and explore some of Santa Fe’s most prominent historical and cultural landmarks. Decipher clues to reach your destinations, locate treasures at the stops, taste, experience and learn about the rich culture and history of Santa Fe.
Our Downtown Scavenger hunts are priced at $110 per adult, including tax. Free for children 12 years and younger with two paying adults during Spring Break 2017 (March 1 through April 15, 2017). Located near Santa Fe, Wildlife West Nature Park is a great place to check out our local wildlife. For each paid adult or senior admission, you will receive one free kids admission. Tell us at the gate that you want the Santa Fe Kids Free Spring break promotion. Regular admission prices are adults $9, seniors $7, students $5 and children 5 and under are always free!
